Fu Hsi-I Ching Author

Fu Hsi-I Ching Author

This poster illustrates the Male Figure of the Fu Hsi, the ancient Taoist Hermit Sage, author of I Ching holding the Pakua, which is beautifully illustrated by Universal Healing Tao Senior Instructor Juan Li's original meditative art drawings.

So, the original "man on the mountain" was not a hermit or pilgrim, but a shaman means "Old Master," such as one might naturally give to an ancient and revered sage, Fu Hsi and legendary Emperor who is credited with the origin of the I Ching and lived approximately 5-8,000 years ago. He first found and understood a line symbol system inscribed on the shell of tortoise and recognized the importance of Eight Trigram symbols and how they represented Reality on all levels.
